Fort Sam Houston is home to the command headquarters of the United States Army North, the United States Army South, the Army Medical Command headquarters, the Navy Regional Recruiting, and the world renowned San Antonio Military Medical Center known as SAMMC. RANDOLPH AFB
Randolph is home to more than 4,000 military members; 5,000 dependents; and 5,000 DOD civilians. It is home to numerous units, including Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Air Force Personnel Center, and the host unit, the 12th Flying Training Wing.

LACKLAND AFB
Lackland is best known for its role in being the sole location for U.S. Air Force enlisted Basic Military Training (BMT) for the active duty Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard. The Air Force Basic Military Training location is Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Basic military training is eight-and-a-half weeks.
